Stage III – Chlorplus Heavy Duty Radial Flow 20 micron cartridge is an advanced granular activated carbon media technology, specifically designed for superior chloramine, chlorine and chemical removal or reduction, including taste and odours. The bed of granular activated carbon between the outer shell and core creates a unique radial flow design which effectively removes chloramines, has a low pressure drop and helps to reduce the release of carbon fines commonly seen in these types of cartridges.Â

Stage IVÂ – Scale Stop High Performance scale prevention (Softener alternative) cartridge is the embodiment of new media technology, Template Assisted Crystallization. Atomic level templates in the surface of the small specially treated polymer spheres transforms dissolved CaCO3 (calcium carbonate) to a crystalline form. The crystals are relatively insoluble, effectively isolating the CaCO3 from water chemistry and anything the water contacts. Extremely effective contact time within 5 seconds, no salt or other chemical regenerants required, no backwash wastage, long lasting media, no electricity usage and little pressure loss.
