CRFC Cartridges

CRFC water filter cartridges typically refer to “Chloramine Removal Filter Cartridges.” These cartridges are specially designed to address the removal of chloramines form water that are a known disinfection byproduct formed by the combination of chlorine and ammonia, commonly used by water treatment facilities to disinfect water supplied. While they’re effective for disinfection, chloramines can impact water taste, odour and overall quality, therefore chloramine removal cartridges help to ensure that treated water is safer, palatable and free from unwanted odour. They use a specialised media that effectively adsorb and neutralize chloramines and chlorine, resulting in improved water quality. By removing chloramines and chlorine, CFRC cartridges significantly enhance the taste and odour of water, being able to also capture, remove and reduce various volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other chemicals that maybe present in water.
